Healers should normalize telling people the truth without any reservations or fear.

Stuff like :
-"You messed up,go and sincerely apologize to the person you did wrong "
-"You have an evil heart I don't have isiwasho or umuthi for that"
-"You have a hard heart forgive yourself,find strength to forgive whoever hurt you"
-"You are envious and jealous of your partners/family member's success. STOP IT"
-"You are dealing with a childhood trauma that you have been sweeping under the carpet it is time you confronted it".

We should not turn the responsibility of emancipating other people from the chains that will eventually hold the next generation bondage for the sole purpose of achieving financial gain and making ourselves icons.

If it means people & other healers don't like us because of truth, so be it. We are not accountable to them at the end of the day,They didn't give us the hefty responsibility of healing.

If the bitter truth results in us being hated or ridiculed or people abdicating from showing gratitude to our guides by ukukhanyisa,so be it.

Otherwise we are no different from the suppressive western medicine notion which subscribers to the ideology that "A healed patient is money lost".

But then again I understand that for some,the arena of healing is social club where they market themselves as brands and stewards of spirituality...(Well Good luck to them.... There are consequences though because you are accountable for each and every person who consults with you !!!)

I miss going to the video store on a Friday evening. It was an experience. Going into Mr Video then walking around looking for a movie to watch. Sometimes you choose a new movie and sometimes an old one. Then you go next door to Debonairs or Steers for take aways. What a time.
