@alexberesfordTV I think he has just put a target on his head. What was his ghost writer/ proof reader thinking when they allowed this too go to print??
@EDPractitioner And watch her get dragged over the coals for that. Nurses are not protected, she will be accused of neglecting her duty of care. If she stays and makes an error, she again will be dragged through the coals. No win situation ๐
@susannareid100@SteveBarclay Outrageous, the ambulance service will ultimately be blamed. Nothing to do with the lack of paramedics, due to vacancies, sickness, ambulances parked up outside A&E. Staffing within the nhs is at crisis point and no one cares. I hope this poor gent is ok. Totally unacceptable
@FionaBhatt@ShaunLintern Not when thereโs only 2 nurses looking after 32/34 pts. The nmc ratio is 1:8 so 50% of the workforce already expected to look after twice the pts. That is not a safe option. Nurses Playing Russian roulette with their PINS every shift, not acceptable
@NigelRuddell@Leicnut@ShaunLintern They wont get proper nursing care on a corridor. Pts in EDโs for 30+ hrs as thereโs no capacity, pts will die in a corridor, itโs happened before. The NHS is broken, the government needs to act and fast. Nurses leaving in droves, unable to recruit. Itโs a vicious circle
@ShaunLintern This is worrying. I totally understand why ambulances need to off load but bringing pts to already overcrowded EDโs is not a solution. EDโstaff are running on below minimum numbers, If anything goes wrong or isnโt picked up itโs the poor nurse who will be taken to task !
@rifatrashid953 A great leader is someone who knows the way, goes the way and shows the wayโฆ and what a great leader, awesome clinician you are.
My NHS colleagues inspire me everyday, but itโs time for the community to become superheroes now
@EmergMedDr @EDPractitioner Iโm sure many will, but ultimately it will be patients that suffer. Staffing levels within the nhs are at an all time low, most areas running on below minimum, unable to recruit, retain but yes, let them leave !
@UB40 I feel deeply saddened at this news, like Iโve lost a family member. Having been a die hard fan for 30+years, Iโve grown up listening and following you guys around. It almost like a part of my childhood has gone.
Rip Astro, thinking of you Ali xx
@UB40 Gutted to be reading this. As a brummie born and reared I like most grew up listening to UB40 and have been a die hard fan ever since which is 30+ years. Enjoying their music and concerts for the past 3 decades. Thinking of his family and friends at this time. RIP Astro x
