Eternal Brotherhood-5: Pakistan joins military drills in Uzbekistan
From September 13 to 25, elite units from four nations gathered in Uzbekistan for the Eternal Brotherhood-5 military exercise. Alongside the host country, troops from Pakistan, Türkiye and Azerbaijan took part while Kazakhstan observed.
This fifth iteration of the exercises aims to strengthen interaction between partner special forces and improve operational interoperability for joint responses to modern security challenges.
The program covers special operations, sniper and firearms training, mountain and engineering tactics, and military medicine. A key focus is drone use and counter-drone measures, plus urban building-clearing scenarios.
Pakistan's participation highlights growing defense cooperation with regional states.

Another day, another terror attack by Afghan-based terror groups, and 12 precious lives lost in D.I. Khan. The Taliban regime seems to have learnt no lesson. Now, Pakistan must up the ante. If they are playing to their strength – terrorism – why should Pakistan not go for the snake’s head?
Because things are now way past talks. Pakistan has exhausted all possible forums.
At the intelligence level, Pakistan shared more than 200 intelligence notes with the Afghan regime. At the border, local commanders held more than 200 flag meetings. Diplomatically, Pakistan issued more than 800 protest notes and summoned the Afghan ambassador more than 170 times. The Joint Coordination Committee, a high-level civil-military forum, met 10 times.
At the leadership level, there were five visits involving the foreign, defence and interior ministers, along with visits by ulema and civil society representatives. Friendly states also intervened. China did so three times, while Qatar and Türkiye also tried, but to no effect.
The Bibliographic Siege of Occupied Kashmir
India has started a systematic campaign in libraries, schools, colleges and houses of Occupied Kashmir to police memory of the occupied. In the span of two months, the military administration in the region has subjected more than 21.8 lakh books to scrutiny and has already withdrawn 4,249 titles on the elastic charge of "objectionable" or "anti-national" content with the vast majority of the removals concentrated in the Valley.
These books are being excised from the intellectual bloodstream of educational institutions while researchers find the primary texts required for serious inquiry into Kashmir’s history, politics and culture placed beyond reach under the same expansive pretexts. Its practical effect is the construction of a tightly curated archive in which only narratives compatible with the post-2019 scenario are allowed to circulate.
By cracking down on entire bodies of literature, the Indian state claims the exclusive right to decide which pasts are to be remembered and which must be forgotten. It is part of a larger project that has accelerated since August 2019 - a project that combines demographic engineering, land transfers, the dispossession of local populations and the radical Hinduisation of public space under the long-standing ideological claim that the territory was once a "Sanatan" landscape waiting to be reclaimed brick by brick.
It may be unbelievable for much of the watching world to absorb that such an erasure of knowledge is being executed in the twenty-first century at the very moment global discourse endlessly celebrates freedom of thought, expression and academic inquiry. It is impossible to believe that a fascist state in today's world can decide which books survive and which ideas may be researched and is able to manufacture consent through enforced amnesia while treating the capacity for independent thought as a threat.
#BREAKING Turkish President Erdogan raises the Kashmir issue at the UNGA.
"In South Asia, it is important that all disputes, including the Kashmir issue, be addressed through dialogue within the framework of the United Nations Charter and relevant resolutions."
Houthis have struck the Saudi capital in Riyadh, with multiple reported strikes at the King Khalid Airport.
In retrospect, their attacks on Saudi Arabia will be regarded as a watershed in consolidating U.S.-Israeli plans for the region.
The petty war of the Houthis is about control of key coastal cities as well as the oil-rich Marib-Shabwa region of Yemen, allowing them to consolidate their grip over key resources. They have the full backing of IRGC, who also want to damage regional oil infrastructure and impose costs on regional states, since Iran’s own infrastructure has been hit.
In any case, it is a lose-lose situation for the region.
The Yemen war will only intensify, since the areas the Houthis are trying to occupy will inevitably invite resistance from local tribal and religious groups that have never been under the Saada-based Houthis. The Saudis will consequently have more incentive to support anti-Houthi groups.
On the oil infrastructure, the Iranians are doing a great service to the U.S. Damaged regional oil infrastructure would open the way for the U.S. to capture a larger share of the global oil market as part of its strategic competition with China.
It is not hard to guess who will fill the void when regional states are being pitted against one another. The Iran-U.S. dynamic works in mysterious ways.
This reminds me of Theodor Herzl, who said in year 1895:
“The anti-Semites will become our most dependable friends; the anti-Semitic countries our allies.”
In 1971, one of the three Al-Badr camps formed in Dhaka was named after Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed (Shaheed Aziz Bhatti Camp) - its Commander Mohammad Abdul Haque was martyred by the muktis.
10 September 1947 – the first organized terror attempt in Pakistan was foiled, and the culprit was RSS members including former Indian Deputy PM LK Advani.
The conspiracy to kill Muhammad Ali Jinnah was uncovered when a bomb blast on September 10, 1947, at the Karachi house of an RSS activist named Totaram killed two people.
Police registered the Shikarpur Colony Conspiracy Case. Many conspirators remained at large and later absconded to India. One of them was LK Advani, former BJP president and former deputy prime minister of India.
The story of the Shikarpur Colony bomb case has several accounts and written sources. Among mainstream studies on the RSS, only one makes a passing reference to the "manufacturing of bombs in Sindh" (Anderson and Damle 1987: 48).
Indian scholar Rita Kothari, in her article ‘RSS in Sindh: 1942–48’, wrote that the case finds detailed mention in Atmaram Kulkarni's biography of LK Advani, titled ‘The Advent of Advani’ (1995). Kulkarni's intention in mentioning the case is to show Advani's participation as testimony of his courage.
Kothari even met two RSS terrorists involved in the conspiracy, Jhamatmal Wadhwani and Harish Vazirani, in the 2000s. Wadhwani lived in Mumbai and Vazirani in Ahmedabad, and both remained active members of RSS and BJP.
Heroes from East Pakistan who fought for their country against India in 1965 War.
The Bengali song used here was composed during the war which translates as:
“My whole mind is filled with the smell of the soil of my country.
Nothing more is needed than this tender green embrace.”
General Stanley McChrystal, who was a top US commander in Afghanistan, told Hamid Karzai in a briefing that 90 percent of the attacks originated inside Afghanistan, contradicting Karzai’s claim that Pakistan was behind them.
Karzai replied, "If we say it's an insurgency, THE WEST WILL LEAVE US. They'll say it's an internal Afghan problem, and we need the West to stay"
