Two highly trained Mountain Rescue Teams (MRTs) of #SSB participated in the Flag-off Ceremony organized by 1st SDRF, J&K after their successful completion of 10 days rigorous trainings.

Shri Nalin Prabhat, IPS, Director General of Police, J&K, along with DIG SSB, Srinagar, reviewed their advanced rescue equipments and flagged off the MRTs for their deployment during the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.

#DGSSB Reviews Election Preparedness for West Bengal Phase 2 at Howrah

Shri Sanjay Singhal, #DGSSB, chaired a high-level review meeting at 741/B Election Coy, ITI Howrah Homes, ahead of the second phase of West Bengal Assembly Elections scheduled on 29.04.2026.

The meeting was attended by district force coordinators, Commandants of Adhoc Bns, Company Commanders, and personnel of #CAPFs, along with IG, Frontier Siliguri and DIG & Nodal Officer SSB (WB AE-2026).

#DGSSB stressed operational readiness and reaffirmed a strict zero tolerance approach towards electoral malpractices. He directed all personnel to ensure a fear-free environment for free, fair and peaceful elections, upholding impartiality, discipline, alertness and strict adherence to #ECI guidelines.

He further emphasized seamless inter-agency coordination and robust security arrangements to ensure violence-free, intimidation-free and inducement-free polling.
Expressing confidence in the professionalism and dedication of the deployed troops, #DGSSB urged all personnel to maintain the highest standards of service in the conduct of election duties.
