Matthew Langford Perry, the American-Canadian actor, comedian, and producer, has passed away at the age of 54, following an apparent drowning.

Sources believe the actor hosted guests the previous evening and retired to the jacuzzi afterward. Authorities found him unresponsive the next morning.

Best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the hit ‘90s sitcom 'Friends,’ Perry appeared in all 234 episodes across 10 seasons. He won 2 Emmy Awards for his performance in 'The West Wing' and starred in over 10 films, including '17 Again,' where he played Zac Efron’s older self.
