What are we seeing here?

Headline Figures

· Total spending for 2025/26 has so far been revised downward by Kes 23.972 billion bringing it to Kes 4.24 trillion
· Key caveat here is that we are yet to see the estimates for the Judiciary & Legislature which were tabled by Majority Leader last week. So the 2025/26 budget size will potentially change
· We can see notable changes on the interest payments for 2025/26, down Kes 31.71 billion

· State Dept. for Devolution is an outlier, up 467.3% (clawing back from the drastic 2024/25 rationalisation)
