@SaffronOlive I stopped playing and buying because they’ve gone the Pokemon route without the Pokemon staples reprints.
If you’re going to tie value to fancy art, you can’t tie value to card power. You’ll just drive away your players.
@SaffronOlive Probably was a reaction from their client (Capcom) seeing the reaction reflect negatively on MH as a brand.
They will probably make SLD unique cards after this which sucks IMO, but I’m not too surprised.
@SaffronOlive There should be a bracket between 2 and 3. One should be what core currently is, and there should be a space for precons.
I really think it’s important to have a defined bracket for precons, and another for upgraded decks that are stronger than precons but weaker than 3.
@SnazzyLabs I work in the film industry in a very tiny condo at home. I also have a small child. I needed something that had amazing audio pass through but could also have incredible noise cancelling.
Sure, the Sonys and Bose headphones do the same thing for less, but not as well.
@SaffronOlive Here’s a hot take:
I’d love this. I’d also love to buy it. It’ll probably be a secret lair that I can’t afford.
I’m ok with MTG being the Fortnite of card games so long as they release something with dragons and elves every once in a while.
@SaffronOlive Here’s my hot take:
UB isn’t the problem, rarity and collector boosters are. Pokemon should be used as an example. Staples are printed to the ground. Fancy art are the chase cards.
The game should be accessible for those who want to play. Rarity needs to change.
@SnazzyLabs The key is being consistent throughout the night. We had to constantly re train until we stuck to a strict regime. It sucked for a week because we needed to be consistent and it’s really hard, but it was so worth it. We had to re-train at 6 months, then again at 9 months.
@Ramez05 I think the biggest takeaway is that games should make you happy. Everyone should be having fun or relaxing while playing a game. Multiplayer or single player.
Elitism ain’t worth it.
