The other 4.8 percent? Troopers, deputies and officers are on the lookout for you. Extra law enforcement will be on Minnesota roads the last week of September to remind drivers to click it or ticket.

Jennifer Starkson knows her daughter’s commitment to car seats saved her three granddaughters’ lives in a crash.

Today, she urged the 4.8 percent of Minnesotans that still don’t buckle up to wear a seat belt. Don’t risk your life, others’ lives, or a ticket.

So far this year, 13 fatal crashes have occurred in Scott County — the same as all of 2022. Today, law enforcement in Scott, Carver & Hennepin counties are targeting dangerous drivers. Slow down, pay attention & help everyone get home safe.
