its so funny talking to freshgrads working in engr and saying i cld never work as an engr and then seeing their reaction when they ask me what im studying at sch (chemical engr) 🤓☝️like yes i cld b an engr too but i rlly cldnt care less abt what yall do cuz its BORING

just because our struggles dont take form the same way (some inter kids go home multiple times a year, some have families who can visit them here, some have parents who fully funds their tuition without it being a financial burden, etc) doesnt make mine any less valid???

by far the most hurtful thing i hear horizontally is definitely fellow international students calling me a fake one lol. im here, alone, away from friends & family, moving from job to job & arguably working my butt off more than the majority of “fake international students” here

@Ask_Singapore__ thanks for the offer. a T2 lost & found officer worked tireless to get it to me (7.00pm) after noticing the lack of help i received when i asked the first time (1.30pm). the officer & myself were both disappointed in the original help i was failed to be given.

im so so so in love with my friends that went out of their way to meet me & ESPECIALLY those who reached out first. the price of community is inconvenience and im so grateful to have friends who’ve inconvenienced themselves to see me within the confines of my schedule. 🤍⭐️😝
