@War_Radar2 Statement “preparing for nuclear war” is ridiculous. How do you prepare, if in such event no one is the winner? It should be called nuclear shutdown/annihilation instead of war. Wars can be won.
@frontlinekit Sick people. How can anyone be just a bit excited about this? You know what it means? If your country is forced to use nukes it means that your country is going to ashes too unless your target is a country without nukes. So what’s so cool about it?
@elonmusk The real question is: If everyone will have access to anything, how are rich and influential people going to retain their power? Nowadays it’s money = power. Money now has value, because we don’t have this equality.
@mkidzv@Fun_Viral_Vids All people who are into p*** are prone to that. If there will be sufficient level of realism, I can see some people choosing robots. Like so many of us choose social media over nature, real world and in person contact.
Where have I been? I’ve discovered #sleeptoken a month ago. “Take me back to Eden” is one of the greatest albums of modern era I have heard. Really cool musically and the atmosphere is out of this world.
@saradietschy With our 2y old, we are up every night for an hour and in 80% of nights we are awake for at least 3h. It’s been like this for 3 months already. We are going insane. I wish peach is going to sleep well again soon. And you two too. :)
@saradietschy So the answer is to bring your own glass cup or brew actual specialty coffee at home or buy from specialty cafes. :) @jimseven has a lot to say about this topic :)
It’s been so long since I had this much excitement after watching a camera review then after watching @MattiHaapoja@Nikon ZR. I want to shoot something, but it’s so much hustle to make a short film (even no-budget), that I fear I won’t be able to enjoy the camera in the process.
@MattiHaapoja I’m so old school. I listen to what I like and then, I get recommendations from friends or from interviews with artists I already listen to. :D Also, I’m quite picky about what I include in my playlist.
@saradietschy I would start a podcast just to be able to chat with you :). Long time fan, love your work and approach to content creation. With that said, if you ever come back to “that creative life”, you’ll have more than one listener. :)
@MattiHaapoja@samkolder On top of that, I see these systems as a child. My 19months old baby isn’t capable of deciding or coming up with new creative ideas. That doesn’t mean she’s not sentient. This is for much longer and deeper discussion than in the comment section however :)
@MattiHaapoja@samkolder Well, what is sentient? People act and behave based on their previous experience and what they were thought. Even emotion-wise. In some cultures death is not a “bad” or “sad” event. However, when my grandfather died at 87, I felt really sad for a long time.
@MattiHaapoja@samkolder Similarly, AI is acting and creating based on its experience and what it was shown. I believe that it’s not going to be like a human, because it’s not a singular person. That doesn’t rule out, that it is some form of “intelligence”.
