There are people sitting on porches tonight listening to crickets.
People driving home with tired eyes and favorite songs.
People folding laundry beside someone they love.
The world is still full of gentle things.
I love keeping ppl’s name out of my mouth. People change and people wander. Who am I to imprison them to my personal experience? My mouth is sacred and I don’t need old scents filling it.
we must free ourselves from the shackles of embarrassment in pursuit of genuine connection, for risk is a natural requirement for authenticity. blurt out a random compliment!!!! commit that faux pas!!!! say your uhms and ahhs!!!!
I love kind people so much, I hope that whoever has shown me any kindness is always happy, always healthy and always granted the best of the best in life
guess what? you can be a deeply serious person with a silly little heart. you can care about the world, grieve what’s broken, and still be delighted by clouds, snacks, and fuzzy socks.
this and sometimes light in the form of a person bringing you a tiny bit of glimmers through a small but very thoughtful action. my heart is soo sooo fulll and i say this every couple ofyears but this is why little acts of sunshine are so important to do for others too>>
pay more attention to the beautiful moments you’re tempted to rush past. your friend’s laughter. the sky changing colors. a stranger holding the door. life gets better when you stop rushing to your destination and start romanticizing the journey.
