@jjcollinsworth @ikramu_ikramu @The_DeConverted I’ll add that there was a lot of fear around “worshipping Mother Earth”instead of “storing up treasures in heaven”. There was this pervasive idea that the earth is destined to end in apocalypse so the only thing that really matters is saving souls, everything else is distraction.
