In #AtulSubhash’s case, Judge Reeta Kaushik has issued legal notices to media & social platforms to restrict news about her allegations.
But these questions demand answers:
❓ Can a sitting judge avoid public accountability with legal notices?
❓ The advocate issuing the notice practices in her court. Conflict of interest much?
❓ If Atul’s suicide note & video led to FIRs/arrests of his wife, MIL, and BIL, why not the judge he also accused?
❓ Isn’t a suicide note a dying declaration? Why is it valid for some but not for all accused?
❓ Does the judiciary enjoy immunity from investigation even with allegations like bribery and corruption?
This isn’t just about one man—it’s about justice for all.
Is the judiciary immune from scrutiny, or is this selective justice? Can legal notices silence questions of public interest?
The public deserves transparency and accountability. 💬

She did not let the child be in Bengaluru so that his biological father could meet him
She instead dumped such a small tiny being in a boarding school instead
Now instead of giving the child to grandparents where he could get some love, she will continue using him as a pawn
It is not just the people who are behind bars who are criminals ‼️ many Extreme criminals are walking, talking and living between us... Like usual people !!

One month of #AtulSubhashSuicide and this is how the justice system gives him justice -
1. Nikita Singhania and others are roaming free on bail
2. Atul's Little 3 year old son is in boarding school.
3. SC calls Atul's parents as virtual strangers for the kiddo.
4. Nikita's uncle who was one accused never got arrested, in fact he is the one helping her.
5. Above all, judge Reeta Kaushik who was accused of asking for bribe is still serving. Nothing happened to her.
@DeepikaBhardwaj Let #AtulSubhashsuicidecase be the landmark. The agitation must not stop until all murderers are punished and 498a bundled laws are reformed.
Keep the fight ON. 🔥💪
Text for those who are asking :
DATE: December 24, 2024
To,
Hon’ble Justice Sanjeev Khanna
Chief Justice of India
SUBJECT: Request for Enquiry into Allegations Against Principal Family Court Judge Reeta Kaushik, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Respected Sir,
My name is Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj. I am an independent journalist, documentary filmmaker, and an equal rights activist. I also serve as the Director of Ekam Nyaay Foundation, a Gurgaon-based non-profit organisation. Our foundation is deeply committed to upholding justice and equality, with a particular focus on addressing the issues faced by men in society. We work tirelessly to help individuals who have been victimised by social or legal injustices, aiming for a world where every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.
Through our two feature-length documentary films, Martyrs of Marriage and India’s Sons, we have shed light on the real-life stories of injustice that men and their families endure due to the misuse of women-centric laws. In September 2024, the Supreme Court of India has expressed concerns regarding the misuse of such laws, and even the Hon’ble Law Minister, Shri Arjun Singh Meghwal, has indicated the government’s intent to review IPC 498A (Section 85,86 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita). These are pressing societal issues that demand immediate attention and fair redressal.
Sir, I write to you with profound grief and urgency to bring to your attention the tragic case of Mr. Atul Subhash Modi, a 34-year-old AI professional based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. On December 9, 2024, Atul took his own life at his residence, leaving behind a heart-wrenching 24-page suicide note and a 1-hour-20-minute-long video detailing the harassment, extortion, and systemic corruption he faced.
The following individuals have been named in his suicide note:
1.Reeta Kaushik, Principal Family Court Judge, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh (JO Code: UP5728).
2.Nikita Singhania (wife), employed at Accenture, Delhi.
3.Nisha Singhania (mother-in-law), resident of Jaunpur.
4.Anurag Singhania (brother-in-law), resident of Jaunpur.
5.Sushil Singhania (wife’s uncle), resident of Jaunpur.
Atul has also mentioned in his suicide note about Peshkar Madhav in Reeta Kaushik’s court who is taking bribe from the people attending the court. Atul was also alienated from his 4.5 year old son by his wife, when his son was less than 2 years old. Atul alleged harassment by his wife and in laws by instituting nine different cases against him and his family including his Father, Mother & Brother in the Jaunpur court by his wife. Even though his brother had seen his wife only for 2 days after the marriage while his father had been with the couple only for 4 days during their cohabitation He attended around 120 court dates in 2 years and had to fly from Bengaluru to Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh for hearings.
ALLEGATIONS AGAINST JUDGE REETA KAUSHIK AS QUOTED IN THE SUICIDE NOTE:
1.Judge Reeta Kaushik demanded Rs. 5 lakhs from Atul on March 21, 2024, to “adjust” and settle his case in court. The note quotes her as saying: “Hum adjust karayenge, mai Rs. 5 lakh lungi, aur mai settle kara dungi. Issi court me sab settle ho jayega. Bahut hi reasonable amount hai, itna paise kamate ho tum. Nikita bhi adjust karegi. Nahi to jeewan bhar tum aur tumhare maa baap court kachehri ke chakkar kaat te rahenge.” Other quotes include: “Phir honge tumhare pas 3 crore. Isliye maang rahi hai” and “To kya ho gaya cases daal diye to. Tumhari patni hai”
2.Rejection of jurisdiction applications despite satisfying all legal points.
3.Non-compliance with Rajnesh v. Neha affidavit guidelines before ordering interim maintenance.
https://t.co/4Qgv118Q7I action on Atul’s objection to his wife’s incomplete and incorrect affidavit submissions for two years.
It has been 2 weeks since #AtulSubhash suicide and we have not heard a word from the Apex Court. However, in cases where matter pertains to crimes against women, SC has immediately intervened and initiated enquiries.
AN OPEN LETTER TO CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA FROM EKAM NYAAY FOUNDATION

Judge Reeta Kaushik sends legal notice to news outlets in absence of any FIR registered against her or even an enquiry initiated under Prevention of Corruption Act by either government @CMOfficeUP@myogioffice or Judiciary
I have publicly posted one more testimony of a man from whom bribe was demanded. It is on record that HC orders were not followed by this Judge because this man did not pay up
Until an enquiry is ordered how will people come forward to complain ?
Just see how they're saying mere testimony isn't proof to implicate anyone but these judges themselves treat mere testimony by a woman as gospel truth and presume that the man must be wrong
Judiciary tasting their own medicine!
