Sorry this is long but I think we all feel the same way tonight and that’s the beauty of it. There’s something about Jungkook that has always run deeper than performance. We all know it. Since he was young, he’s cried at the ends of things, not because he’s fragile, but because he loves without holding anything back, and love like that doesn’t know how to stay quiet when it’s time to say goodbye. He grew, and somewhere along the way he learned to steady himself, to hold the ache so it wouldn’t spill over in front of everyone.

Tonight, for a moment, the control gave way, again. And that’s the truest thing about him: underneath the discipline and the years of practice he is still that same boy who feels everything fully, who has never learned how to love halfway. And when love runs that deep, it’s felt, it becomes a collective experience even for those of us who weren’t standing in that stadium, watching through a screen from another time zone entirely. There’s no one else like him. He doesn’t just perform for us; he gives himself, over and over, until there’s nothing left to hold back because it was never really performance to begin with. To be loved by someone like that - so fully, so honestly, after everything he’s already given - isn’t something to take lightly. It’s a PRIVILEGE to be his fan, and to be loved by him this way. quem conhece o jungkook de verdade sabe que ele se emocionar em shows é completamente normal, ele é um membro muito carinhoso e amoroso com o bts e o fandom. ele escreve cartas para o army e se emociona lendo elas, ele se emociona ouvindo músicas feitas pelo army, ele tem o nome army tatuado. ele ama esse fandom e não tem o pq ficarem procurando outros motivos para que ele tenha chorado no final desse show que não seja a emoção. mesmo que vcs estejam preocupados ou qualquer outra coisa.

i think it's been years since the last time i saw jungkook cry. not just at a concert, but in general.
