This has to be one of the most damning Community Notes I've seen to date against the police.

Community Notes are decided by people from across the spectrum. If a note like this is being upheld, it suggests there is broad disagreement with the police's account of what happened.

Telling people “don't share the footage” was never going to work.

Watch the footage and draw your own conclusions. Birmingham Police are asking for another Henry Nowak incident. At a minimum, all officers involved should be sacked. Hopefully, they can also be referred for prosecution.
