New banner! Thank you all for your submissions. Unfortunatley, I could not include all of your amazing shows, but throughout the year I will highlight different one-acts from across the state from the 2020 season as a TBT! 🎭 -Unknown

“Just because you didn’t star doesn’t mean the system is rigged. Just be grateful that you got to go to state at all because some people never get a chance to go”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“Andrey from The Wedding if you’re reading this please be my friend”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“everyone calm down state is over”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“Lol, guilt tripping judges isn’t cute or tasteful, and every judge is different. Just because you didn’t star doesn’t mean you don’t have a good show. Very disrespectful to those who put in the work to earn a star.”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

““The state festival isn’t about starring - it’s about appreciating good theatre. It’s too bad if your show didn’t star, but your show made it to state. That’s a huge privilege in itself.”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“Please post this solely because of how corrupt these state judges are. RTR had a far superior show than most of the people who starred this year, not even talking about the last 6 years either. Just because we aren’t sponsored by Wells Fargo doesn’t mean we don’t exist!!”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“Can't Believe that RTR made it 7 years in a row! Congrats and good luck in the future 👍 loved there show! Had me in tears!!!”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“Andrey Andreyevitch Nunin Fyodor Yakovlevitch (geez) from “The Wedding” was SO HILARIOUS and SO DEDICATED. I’m sincerely impressed”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“Yerma at state was absolutely fantastic! The main girl portrayed her role so well and had me in tears at the end! Job well done to the whole cast!”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“thank you alexandria for an amazing show and showing us what a scene change should look like”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“The two girls from Watermelon Hill in the pink looked the EXACT SAME!!”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“i loved “Proof” at state! it was technically beautiful and extremely well done. great job to the cast and crew :)”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“Warming up and practicing on stage at performances is unprofessional. You’ve been doing this show for months. It’s showing off. Just set up your set and continue on with your show.”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“how did RTR not star at state?! their show was PHENOMENAL”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“The Insanity of Mary Gerard was visually stunning. The costumes and makeup added to the show. Some parts were a bit tricky to follow though.”

[MN One-Act Confessions @MnOneactconfess]

“The singer in Julius Caesar.... WOW. We wanted to hear her more! However, we weren’t a huge fan of the other music.”
