The National Consumer Helpline portal is a very useful tool to get consumer grievances resolved. I had a faulty product delivered by #Flipkart for which the company was dillidallying for paying refund. NCH grievance made the payback in a day. @jagograhakjago .
@ANI Lot of package messaging can be corrected in the Indian FMCG sector if fssai stands up and takes notice. Extravagant claims are rampant on food packaging.
@foodpharmer2 Many biscuit packets mention words like "with goodness of atta" or " arrowroot" or even millets. Buy how many of us actually read the labels to understand what is the % of those in the biscuits.
@smitaprakash Indian consumers should always read the labels. A product which is not made of milk is a frozen dessert and not ice cream. The ingredient list is a good indicator of the actual composition of the claimed product. Like how much whole wheat is actually in a 'atta' biscuit.
@sanjeevsanyal One of the underrated historical stories in India are the voyages of Sadhabas of erstwhile #Kalinga. Their voyages from India's modern day #Odisha to distant Indonesian island of Bali is still celebrated in form of #Baliyatra. They did maritime trading with such long distances.
From bamboo and orchids to skylights and sky forests—this is not just an airport, it’s a living ecosystem.
Inspired by Assam’s foxtail orchids, indigenous bamboo, and the landscapes of Kaziranga, architect Nuru Karim has designed Guwahati Airport’s new Terminal 2 as a living forest that prioritises sustainability and passenger wellbeing.
Awarded the International Architectural Award 2025, this project proves that modern infrastructure doesn’t have to conquer nature—it can coexist with it.
Swipe to see the stunning images and what sustainable smart design can look like.
This will definitely help to boost international connectivity, not only Assam but the entire North East. Hoping to see intl flight operations commence soon.
On my way to the ground in Delhi and my heart sank when I saw people feeding a whole army of pigeons. Doctors have been shouting from the rooftops about the dangers of inhaling pigeon droppings and the severe lung disease it could lead to. Please, let us stop feeding pigeons.
"Electricity bill .. up 60% since 2023" in Athens, Georgia (US) due to new AI data center demand for electricity.
One of the under-appreciated facts about the current state-of-the art AI is how extraordinarily energy inefficient it is.
This is a huge issue for India. Even if we could afford all the GPUs (not!), we cannot afford the electricity bill. We cannot afford to hurt households and factories.
We need vastly more energy efficient AI. I believe that requires fundamentally rethinking the computational aspect of AI.
Respected @anandmahindra , what your firm did with #Jawa and #BSA is remarkable. Now can the similar be done with Ambassador saloon. May be its time our brass moves around again on something #swadeshi.
