This month, a team endorsed by Guillermo del Toro released Mexico's first stop-motion feature. It's 2 hours of pure imagination.
The film is called I Am Frankelda, and we've taken a deep look into how it came to be:

Curioso, todos los animales (jaguar, quetzal, ajolote) que eligen como imagen de México están en peligro crítico de extinción gracias a la avaricia, miseria e insensibilidad del sistema político
Explotan su imagen mientras permiten o participan activamente en su desaparición
I wish we could go back in time where ai generated images never existed. I miss being able to like any artwork or post that I see, without worrying if it's ai or not. I miss it so much.
💔 "Nobody can take your freedom. I have lived in a dictatorship. There was a ban on everything! Was I less free in my mind? No, I wasn’t. Did I become a stupid person? No, I didn’t. Because no matter how much they looked at me, they could not get into my mind."
~ Marjane Satrapi

James Cameron, George Miller, David Fincher, Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott and more veteran filmmakers have sadly gave in to AI. cannot stress enough how disappointing it is that Martin Scorsese is collaborating with an AI company and putting a stain on his name so late in his life and career. he is like the last person i’d expect this from
