I brought my e-bike onto an elevator with a few older ladies. One of them looked at my bike and said “my son thinks e-bikes are cheating.” (To a round of laughter from the other ladies) I responded “if he thinks e-bikes are cheating, what does he think of cars?” #awkwardsilence

@pbontoast1 A 56 day tour will get you a medal but 5 years of continuous ops at a SAR Sqn will get you nothing. I did hear rumours of a SAR medal getting created while I was at 424 but I don’t know if one will ever get made.

@pbontoast1 One of the travesties in SAR is that most of guys who spend 30 years doing it retire with only a CD medal despite the fact they’ve been operational every single day.
