@SashaLPC You nailed it. My concerns with "trans" are the risky and irreversible medical procedures, as well as the inconveniences for women (spaces, sports, etc.). However, blanket opposition to transitioning and trans identities will rebuff many people and leave them on the curbside.
@BriannaWu Wait a minute. There is no proof being ousted from that club led to suicide. And even if it was related, she needed psychological help; female athletes do not have to compete against biological men "just in case they kill themselves", which would be blackmail.
One of my favorite case studies in the biology of sex is 47:XXY (SRY Negative), a combination of two genetic disorders into one that then cancel each other out, creating a fertile XXY female.
47:XXY is the most common sex chromosome disorder, causing Klinefelter Syndrome in the male embryos it affects. However, a much rarer form of 47:XXY exists, where a person is conceived without the essential chromosome material on the short arm of the Y chromosome, known as the p arm. The p arm holds the SRY gene, the switch for male development that encodes testes.
Without this male-making material, the precarious genetic balance of the undifferentiated gonad begins to tilt towards the female genetic network. Now the WNT4, FOXL2, and RSPO1 network upregulates and suppresses the male system, resulting in the initial development of ovaries. In embryos with XY who are also missing SRY, this is where ovarian development stops. The young ovarian tissue degenerates and forms fibrous tissue called streak gonads, resulting in sterility.
Something remarkable happens, however, in the XXY SRY negative (SRY-) embryo. Unlike XY embryos who only have one X chromosome, XXY has two. Essential genes for ovarian maintenance can now express themselves in double copy, providing proteins for development of the follicles and the Granulosa cells that support them. This in turn maintains the health of the ovaries and stops them from degenerating. From here, sex development continues to proceed as normal.
For an in-depth analysis of 25 DSDs and many case studies, we are soon releasing a first of its kind visual handbook on human sex development and DSDs, featuring beautiful development diagrams and accessible commentary.

In 2021, WPATH explicitly recommended using the ICD code for "Endocrine Disorder-NOS [Not Otherwise Specified]" when dealing with insurance.
Neither trans identity nor gender dysphoria are endocrine disorders.

Of course, pregnant women usually know they should only take medication cautiously, after balancing pros and cons. Like the dangers of a fever for a fetus vs the virtually nonexistent danger of acetaminophen taken at a normal dose.
All the gaslighters reposting this image forget to tell you that all pharmas do not recommend any of their products to pregnant women (unless it’s made specifically for them) only to avoid being sued, not because they’re actually harmful. #tylenolautism
@Martina I heard MAGA people on TikTok asking Trump to call for a civil war… but I hear no call for a civil war from this specific clip. What have you heard that I haven’t?
On September 19 I filed an amicus brief with the United States Supreme Court in West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox.
Preserving female-only sports categories is essential to protect fairness, safety, privacy & equality for women & girls.

Soon #CandaceOwens will claim it was all orchestrated by the Queen of the Global Jewish Trans Reptilian Order, a.k.a. Brigitte Macron.
Enough with lunacy, whether from the left or the right.
#FCC#Chairman should have shut his mouth and let Sinclair and Nexstar pull the plug on #Kimmel on their own, whether it was for his poor rates or his recent comment. Now it’s impossible not to see gov coercion in this cancellation.
To anyone peddling the "trans terrorism" bogus claim: here is a way more cool-headed take on the issue by a science journalist that, btw, is hated by transactivists for his remarkable work dismantling the shoddy science behind youth gender medicine. https://t.co/ldFquHkTu5
