To rehash the tired and erroneous trope that the ability to look things up is more important than to have deep knowledge is more than trite

It sends a strong message that expertise from deep learning is unimportant

This dumbing-down message is the opposite of what is needed

Expertise allows the recognition of ‘peril in quiescence’ - deceptively serious conditions

Pitfalls, rare but serious complications, mimics, differential diagnosis all comes from expert knowledge
