The abduction of the Chibok girls in 2014 triggered a global movement. One school abduction was enough to unite Nigerians, attract international attention, and place enormous pressure on the government through the #BringBackOurGirls campaign.
Yet, what has happened since then should trouble every Nigerian.
Under President Buhari's eight years in office, Nigeria witnessed about ten school abductions. Under President Tinubu's administration, in just three years, we have already recorded over ten school abductions.
Despite these repeated tragedies, there has been neither sustained national outrage nor significant international attention comparable to what followed Chibok.
This raises an important question: have we become so accustomed to insecurity that what once shocked our national conscience is now treated as normal?
At a time when millions of Nigerians are grappling with insecurity, poverty, and hardship, it is deeply troubling that those in power appear more focused on political calculations and preparations for the next election than on addressing the urgent challenges confronting our people.
It is, therefore, no surprise that some observers have labelled us a "Now Disgraced Nation". While we do not agree with any attempt to define our great country by its present difficulties, we must acknowledge that persistent insecurity, economic hardship, and leadership failure have damaged our reputation and standing among nations.
The answer is not denial, propaganda, or political distraction. The answer is leadership that is competent, compassionate, accountable, and genuinely committed to the welfare and security of the Nigerian people.
The Nigerian youth must not become indifferent. We must all refuse to normalise failure.

Yoruba Ronu and Yoruba Christians Ronu are shocked to find out that Yoruba Ronu Muslims are supporting APC because they want to implement Shariah in the Southwest. Now the Ronus are angry. 😎
An Obi who does not have any single Igbo person in his inner “daily task” circle, is an Igbo candidate
But Tinubu who’s Chief Spokesperson, Chief of Staff, Advisers & Entire Inner circle are ALL YORUBAS is not a Tribal Candidate
The Paradox you only see in Nigerian politics. 📌
A new twist has emerged in the abduction of pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, as reports indicate that the kidnappers are demanding both a ₦1 billion ransom and the implementation of Sharia law as conditions for the release of the victims.

To: All Nigerian Youth Leaders, Especially the Arewa Youth Leader
This message is a warning to every Nigerian youth leader, and most especially to the individual who claims to speak for Arewa Youth.
On several occasions you have publicly accused the Igbo people, insulted them, and made threats against them.
A few months ago, after some Northerners were killed in Edo State, you went online and blamed the Igbo people, knowing full well that Edo is not Igbo.
Again, when VeryDarkMan had a dispute with Blord, you came online and dragged the entire Igbo tribe into a disagreement between two individuals. You did not even acknowledge that Igbo is a tribe. You threatened all Igbo people over an online issue that had nothing to do with them. The whole country saw it, and everyone remained silent as if it meant nothing.
Just this week, you did the same thing again by threatening another Igbo man online.
I don’t know what business you have with the Igbo people. With elections approaching, it looks like your mission is to create conflict between Northerners and Igbos. This is an old political tactic—some politicians, especially from the older generation in the South West, have used it for years: push two tribes into chaos so they can benefit.
As the Igbo Youth Leader of the South East region, I say: enough is enough.
I am warning you directly: this will be the first and last time you come online to threaten Igbo people or accuse them of crimes they did not commit. If it happens again, we will hold you accountable by all legal and lawful means available to us in this country.
This is a warning to all Nigerian youth leaders:
The Igbo people have experienced war. We have fought war. We have witnessed war. And we do not pray for war. Many of you have not seen what war looks like in your region, which is why you speak of it so casually.
But hear this clearly: if anyone tries to drag us into another war in Nigeria, you will face the consequences. We will defend our people, our dignity, and our future.
And another person will raise your children for you...
And to Arewa Youths , you guys are being represent by an illiterate
Warn him or we will deal with him
We are carefully waiting for his insults and threat again against the Igbos and we will know how it goes.
