Last night at the Love Guru premiere, we were led into the screening theatre, and we were waiting to be seated, when Fawad Khan & his wife spotted us & said hello. They were already seated. Seeing my mother & khala standing there, Fawad & his wife immediately gave up their Platinum seats. Ma felt very awkward, but they refused to let her stand. When we were all finally seated, they got their seats back. But as usual I’m warmed to the heart by Fawad & Sadafs kindness & chivalry.
Throwback to years ago, I was on a flight from Lahore to Karachi. On landing I suffered an epileptic seizure. Fawad Khan happened to be on the flight & made sure I was on a wheelchair, found my meds and gave them to me, then called my brother Rakae Jamil & waited with me at the airport till he arrived. No amount of my insisting I was fine made him go home, until I was with my brother.
He is simply one of the classiest, most gracious and kindest acts Pakistan has. He’s always helpful, but in his understated gentle signature style. And a powerhouse of talent to top that.
He’s also one of the few celebrities I’ve met who are deeply conscious and conscientious about climate change and the environment.
Respect. ✊🏼
anyway im back home from my extended stay in pakistan and i actually had sooo much fun. first time in a long time i actually liked being in pak, even in spite of the war scenes in between
it's like ok whatever if u think it's wrong to be gay but if u want others to respect ur beliefs u have to respect their beliefs too! the entitlement some muslims show is annoying
the way i've heard these exact words come out of the mouths of relatives living abroad 😭 but most people like this refuse to move back home too lol instead they demand the societies of their respective foreign countries to bend over and appease to their conservative ideologies
