Don Rico having his 2nd schooling trial over the jumps at @Star_Pelaw The former A1 Dundalk runner looks to reignite his career over the flights. The second trial is Razldazl Beau bred, reared and schooled by English & Irish Derby winning trainer. Learnt from a young age how to jump. He joins us from another leading Irish Greyhound Trainer Murt Leahy.
@kimwalton89 That swap to Sheffield for a few runs really switched him on. There's only two dogs I would love to have from monmore, and he's one of them. Well Done to you and your Dad.
Well, we might have had all four runners @Star_Pelaw, but in a pool of 8 dogs that are qualified to Hurdle in the UK, we thank Star for putting a race on for us. We have another 3 or 4 to qualify and I believe some of the local trainers are also looking to qualify a few so before you know it the pool should get much bigger and fingers crossed the jumps take off (pardon the pun) @GreyhoundBoard@kim_sanzone@BenStarSports
Another person that takes things out of context (Vans to be kept between 10 - 26 degrees) the forcast for Wolverhampton today was supposed to be 32 degrees at 2pm onwards so the morning meeting at Dunstall was forcast to be cooler. The @GreyhoundBoard hot weather policy states racing suspended at 33 degrees so I presume they thought they could race, but chose to abandon the meeting. I'm being polite in answering your questions, so could you answer mine and tell me how many dog owners travelled a couple of hours today with their dogs to the beach. Another point how many horses raced today?
We take sensible measures during this time for example we soak our dogs food with more water, we give them less time in the paddocks put instead they go out more, we ensure they have water at all times. We don't work them during this period instead we opt to give baths and allow them to stay cool. The Hot Weather Policy was designed by vets @GreyhoundBoard@DefraGovUK keeps an eye on the sport. GBGB are UKCAS accredited we are also independently Audited. Why don't you find a cause that needs fighting for example the amount of animals euthanasied each year by @RSPCA_official and the reasons why.
@watts_mf@solderandflux@SunderlandDogs@GreyhoundBoard All are vans have to be kitted out with Air Con and thermometers and kept between 10 - 26 degrees with access to water How many people have you questioned driving to the beach today with their dogs.
