@TheJozz20 right now you dont have ur lightsources defines so the leaves have shadows and lights everywhere instead of towards the lightsource. Define it and then the light color here the crystal gives a color hue to everything aswell so the character is lit way too lightly here

Doing illustration for a bookcover- it getting run through Ai in post process and looking extremly cheap and odd- my name gonna be attached to AI slob as a result someone hold me TT_TT

@TheJozz20 extremly rough and fast with mouse but basically a lot you do is focus on lines instead of the shapes. And you dont decide where the main focus should be. Here you want everything to lead ur eye to the monster and the character should line up so he looks at him instead.

@TheJozz20 So even just slighly putting him to the right makes it more believable that he looks at him from straight down you would not be able to see his face at all since he only looks up then. Colors also have an impact on surrounding colors like the sky impacts the greens of leaves etc

@TheJozz20 Yeah the thing i mainly see as your struggle is you paint what you think is right instead of what is there colorwise. It can be a style but for that you need to understand how it would work first let me overpaint real quick

@TheJozz20 Values are a bit all over the place needs more of a focal point to guide the eye and i would avoid shading with black or white but use color and multiply layer for shadows. Fill the painting with the shadow color set it to multiply and a mask to erase out the light

good thing i can at least progress on this now freely and cleanse my eyes of it. has some flaws with composition and stuff but a good practice piece nonetheless.

@Sockmara mainly nervt mich das es eh schon schlecht bezahlt ist und wegen kleinverlag man auch goodwill walten lässt. Und jetzt mein name an dem mist kleben wird.

@Sockmara das ist auch schon das 5te cover das ich für sie gestalte habe also naiver weise angenommen das es wie immer ablaufen wird. Red flag war schon das ich durch AI komplett ersetzt werden sollte anfangs sie aber zurückgerudert haben. Das erste buch der serie war aber noch normal.

@BioWaifu @penumbrapremier @AzuraDulait You also own a physical product but don‘t clone it. So no you shouldnt be able too again that would be the same as using the patent not the thing you bought. So if anything your arguments make little sense since you are constantly comparing apple and oranges.

@BioWaifu @penumbrapremier @AzuraDulait The analogy was literally urs hence i used it. You used it for explaining renting earlier. Hence the big flaw in that argument. The drill is a tool not the final product or part of what you are selling. It‘s not like you are selling the actual drill so again different.

You are comparing a physical product yet completly ignore the constraints. Ur not buying the patent by buying a lawnmower either.

@JLeagueShirts @BOODUH28TH @_yanaboyko Not how copyright works in europe at least. Even if a site has those clauses they don‘t need to be „expected“ hence are not valid even if written. Since you cant be expected to read them all and that would stop business flow protections are in play.
