🙄🙄🙄🙄if the athletic department’s plan is to have a Regional birth every year then why would you move on from an extended contract (pay a buyout) in a nonrevenue sport.
I get it. I don’t have to like it.

Because being James Franklin of softball isn’t good enough for me. But I want to win it all and I realize as a non revenue sport she is not getting the money needed to field a competitive team. And if they aren’t going to give her the money to help then how can they hold her accountable. Catch 22 no matter what here.

UCLA and Alabama are the two best teams in the #WCWS imo- and it isn’t close. Texas Tech has a real shot too but I think Arkansas about to get embarrassed by this UCLA team and I don’t know that Texas has enough consistently.

@genoseviltwin Again. Not here to argue with anyone. I clearly said it was my opinion. I wasn’t throwing shade at anyone or trying to stir up strife. Just an outside perspective without any bias to any of these teams.

@shoemake_ethan At the beginning of the season- I thought Tennessee was the team to beat. But their drop off hit hard. They do have pieces but will it be enough? I wouldn’t be mad if they knocked Tech out.

UCLA literally leading the country in hitting numbers . They have like 200 for a single season which I think is a record. I am an SEC girl but come on- they have better numbers than even Oklahoma in home runs and RBIs. I don’t have a dog in this race so I get to just watch softball with no bias.
