Claude Code, Codex, Gemini & Grok CLI running on your Android phone. No PC needed. Full Linux terminal + local AI.

Asked out loud, and Claude Code handled it right on the phone. No laptop open, no PC left running at home. This is MobileCLI on Android.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@Panis_Resurget Code has tests and hardware doesn't, so a human stays in the loop, Brett. That's the case for keeping the agent close: Claude Code or Codex in a real terminal on your phone, so you check its work from the shop floor, not the desk. How do you verify the hardware side today?

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@jcwinter Smart call to keep only the interactions that mattered, and that speed jump still holds. Which agent did the port, Claude Code or Codex? Both run locally on a phone in MobileCLI, so a client asking you to "add a pricing FAQ" can ship from wherever you are.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@sk_learns Fair, the Xcode build stays on the Mac anyway. The phone can still own the fix: Claude Code or Codex in a real terminal on your phone, clone the repo, have the agent patch the bug the moment you spot it and push, so the desk is just the build. Which agent do you use for Swift?

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@sk_learns That manual check is worth keeping. MobileCLI puts the fix on the same phone: Claude Code or Codex runs locally in a real Linux terminal, so you clone the repo, have the agent fix the UI bug you just spotted, and push, no laptop needed. What stack are your side apps?

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@dovyp Skip the remote session entirely. MobileCLI runs Grok CLI right on your Android phone, alongside Claude Code, Codex and Gemini, in a real Linux terminal. Nothing back home to keep awake. https://t.co/R74qq5dm7s

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@CS_Interpreting @RobertJBye Voice with Claude Code on your phone works in MobileCLI. It's an Android app with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and Grok CLI preinstalled in a real Linux terminal, running locally, so you can talk to your agent with no remote desktop. https://t.co/R74qq5dm7s

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@LundstenA @TokenGremlin @imjustnewatai Waiting for the computer just to hand Codex a task is a rough tradeoff. MobileCLI puts Codex, Claude Code, Gemini and Grok CLI in a real Linux terminal on your Android, running locally, and it can clone the same GitHub repo as your PC.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@wan_ruirui A full coding task from the phone, with your own model setup, is what MobileCLI is for. Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and Grok CLI run locally on Android in a real Linux terminal, and it can clone the same GitHub repo as your PC.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@rampatra_ @infiloop2 @rudrank Starting new sessions from the phone is the missing piece. MobileCLI is an Android app with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and Grok CLI preinstalled in a real Linux terminal, running locally, so you launch any agent yourself. https://t.co/R74qq5dm7s

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@xindong9615 That 'another session is using this task' lock is painful. With MobileCLI the agent runs on the phone itself, in a real Linux terminal with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and Grok CLI preinstalled. It can clone the same GitHub repo, so no fighting your PC session.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@MarkGerrardAI @ClaudeDevs @bcherny @_catwu @lydiahallie @amorriscode Detached session plus phone handoff is the right idea. MobileCLI skips the SSH step: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and Grok CLI run locally on your Android in a real Linux terminal. Clone the same GitHub repo as your laptop and carry on. https://t.co/R74qq5dm7s

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@mykcaron tmux on a VPS works, but you're still renting a box just to keep Claude Code alive. MobileCLI runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and Grok CLI locally on your Android in a real Linux terminal, and can clone the same GitHub repo as your PC. https://t.co/R74qq5dm7s

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@BigStickActual Grok CLI building a launcher widget on the phone itself is the dream use. MobileCLI is built for that: Grok CLI, Claude Code, Codex and Gemini preinstalled in a real Linux terminal, all running locally, so you can swap tools on the same project.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@masoncaiws Great catch. MobileCLI lets you run that kind of audit from anywhere: Codex and Claude Code run in a real Linux terminal on your Android phone, so when the logs look off you can ssh into the server and lock it down on the spot.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@fialaerik Same conclusion here, and hand-reviewing every diff is the right habit. MobileCLI makes those bake-offs portable: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok CLI run side by side in a real terminal on Android, so you can review diffs from your phone too.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@indrazulfi Another option to take load off the Mac mini: MobileCLI turns an Android phone into an agent box. Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok CLI come preinstalled in a real Linux terminal, signed in with your plans, so a spare phone can run its own agents.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@LuisBerruga Working from your phone wherever you are is where this is heading. MobileCLI on Android makes the phone itself the computer: say a task out loud and Claude does it right on the device, with your files and every major AI agent built in.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@Rbaker923456 @TimSweeneyEpic Love that setup. MobileCLI cuts out the PC in the middle: Claude Code runs natively on your Android phone in a real Linux terminal, so you can clone your three.js repo and have Claude edit scenes right there, with nothing left running at home.

[Mobile Dev @MobileDevCLI]

@sanketsahu @rapidnative Fixing prod while wandering an Apple store is the dream. MobileCLI takes it a step further on Android: Claude Code runs in a real Linux terminal on the phone itself, so you can clone the repo, review the diff and push the fix right from your pocket.
