@trq212 thanks for helping millions of users build with claude code and being a constant advocate for users! will miss working with you and enjoy the well deserved break :)
We heard your feedback that you want Claude to proactively take more off your plate! Claude Duet is a large step in this direction - it'll notice work that needs to be done, and then do it before you ask.

We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent.
It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.
we're letting in everyone from the waitlist daily as we have capacity. if you're pro/max, on the waitlist and didn't get access today, please dm me!
ICYMI projects can also now run a session locally (i.e. to test a desktop app, use claude in chrome, etc).
thanks for the feedback!
the following are fixed in the latest version of the app:
• Folder caps per project, or none
• Per-project trust level for prod (deploys, SSH)
• Show where each thread runs, and errors that say how to fix them
• Keep the project chat and threads as the remote view, so I can check in from other Claude App instances (phone, web, etc)
looking into the rest
@Ha_Sch@swyx the other thing that’s tricky about this is that this breaks caching and so would cost a lot more than the current compaction implementation
@_skaface_@swyx To turn auto-compact off:
- /config, then flip the Auto-compact toggle (writes "autoCompactEnabled": false to your user settings)
- or for one session: launch with DISABLE_AUTO_COMPACT=1 (manual /compact still works)
@ashkaidev i typically ask things like: 1. top use cases / workflows for the feature 2. how they would pitch it to a teammate 3. show me what’s frustrating about the feature 4. what would you use to support next
One of my favorite PM use cases for Claude is asking "who used <feature> the most last week? make me a artifact of the top 10 by usage, then reach out and schedule 15 min to chat." It's the fastest way to get user feedback!
