Day 280: 190 words. It started rough today; I actually ended up deleting everything I had written yesterday. But I'm in a better spot now. I should be able to pick up some steam now. The goal is 5k words, which seems easy enough.
Day 279: 53 words. I deleted a large chunk of what I wrote today. I wasn't a fan of it. I'll sleep on it and try again tomorrow. The definitive due date for this story is September 1st, so I am racing against the clock, but I should be fine.
Day 278: 1257 words. I am proud to announce that I have finished writing the first draft of 'Corgi Commandos: Muzzled Mayhem'. Tomorrow I start on my anthology submission.
Day 274: 300 words. I'm getting excited to finish Corgi Commandos 2. Obviously, it's going to happen this month, hopefully this week, so that I can have as much time as I need to write my anthology submission before the deadline. I really want to be a part of that book.
Day 272: 300 words. Gar followed a spider, acted as if he killed it, then brought it up with him when he jumped into my lap. Dude was holding it in his paw the entire time, until he initiated mandatory cat time, when he released the thing, and it skittered across my lap.
Day 271: 500 words. When I finish this Corgi Commandos book (soon), I am going to work on a different project, which could potentially get me in an anthology book with other authors (if accepted).
Day 270: 200 words. Gar had a lot of things to say today, mostly 'meow', but at some point I thought he said 'hello' when I wouldn't get up to activate his toy (that he knows how to activate himself).
Day 269: 100 words. Hey guys, don't forget to leave a review for books you've read. Authors like to know what you thought of their book, and it helps them grow if they receive constructive feedback.
Day 268: 100 words. Quick writing session today; probably could have gone longer, but it's fine. There's always tomorrow. (I also wanted to finish reading the chapter I'm on in Murderbot book 5...it keeps getting better and better).
Day 267: 200 words. I've been thinking about making a series of videos that will work as a recap for my novels. Maybe make it a behind-the-scenes type thing.
Day 265: 300 words. I have a character who doesn't have a name yet. He's a husky who Agent Tator Tot calls 'loud and annoying'. Who wants to name him? Drop your suggestions below.
Day 264: 800 words. Okay, I didn't spend all day working on it like I wanted, but I still made some incredible progress. If my chair wasn't so uncomfortable today, I'd have gone further.
Day 263: 100 words. I'm going to make a hard push toward completion tomorrow. I don't think I will finish it, but I'm certainly going to focus on it all day.
Day 262: 200 words. I bought Gar a new toy, and I think he likes it. I didn't even need to pretend someone else bought it for him. He just simply likes it.
