Okay Google Ads seem promising so I decided to implement a real ads tracking feature in my own mobile analytics SaaS @mobiqo ๐
๐ My app knows if the user was acquired via an ad (attribution plugin) and sends it to Mobiqo via the SDK
๐ Mobiqo saves it and saves as well the channel
๐ Then via its RevenueCat integration, it knows the revenue generated by these users (it handles webhooks so the sub revenue is updated over time)
So I have a precise idea of number of paid acquired users and the revenue they generate over time.
It's a first version and needs improvement (to calculate rentability) but still useful.
If a user clicks a link @mobiqo generates, it saves some metadata, then redirects the user to the mobile store. If the user downloads the app and opens it, Mobiqo's SDK get similar metadata and compare both.
It creates a probability score, and if it's high enough, a match is made: we know with a certain confidence that a user coming from a source X downloaded the app.
It works! Now @mobiqo can link a source (like TikTok), a user (download), and a purchase!
I'll finally be able to identify precisely where my users come from and which channel converts better ๐ฅน
Already in production, you can use it as well!
๐ Now @mobiqo fetches your App Store ratings from all countries in which it has some, and displays it in a dedicated tab!
It shows as well your ratings average over time on a chart, mixed with new version updates.
This way you can see exactly what impacts a new release has in terms of ratings โญ๏ธ
Just pushed a new update to @mobiqo SDK! You can know - via the mobile SDK - add info about your user (id, email and name), and a referrer.
It'll be displayed on the user data on your dashboard ๐
If you have a unique price for your in-app purchases, you're very likely losing money ๐ฌ
Not everyone in the world has the same purchasing power - you have to adapt your price for different countries.
This is why I created this tool: a parity pricing calculator.
Enter your base price, the main country your app is targeting, and it'll calculate 3 different tiers.
It'll also lists all countries with the matching tier.
Free (slightly limited) public access here: https://t.co/O7HSNxISmz
Full tool accessible via the free plan of @mobiqo ๐
Just added a Parity Pricing Generator to @mobiqo ๐ค
Enter your product price, select a base country, and it'll generate prices for all other countries based on a PPP index.
You can even export all prices in a .csv file.
Already available in the free plan ๐
Just recorded a new demo of my mobile analytics tool @mobiqo
If you're looking for a tool to improve your mobile app data collection/reading/analysis, you should definitely take 5 minutes and watch the video:

Mobiqo now shows you the impact of your marketing actions on your mobile app in realtime:
- Log a marketing action in a few seconds
- See the number of sessions/revenue it triggers right after
- Compare it to a baseline
You can even personalize the time window from 1 hour to 12 hours post action.
Mobiqo is still free to start with: https://t.co/gVFNcpICxs
It's official, my apps just crossed $2k in November ๐ฅ
I set a goal of $2k in December back in June.
I didn't really believe it, thought it'd be nice if I reached $1k.
But here we are, $2117 generated in November.
50% increase in one month.
No viral TikTok, no ads, no influence marketing.
I don't think the growth will keep being that good, but still, will continue working on it.
Also, in June I promised myself the day my apps make $2k/month, I'd focus on my mobile analytics tool @mobiqo
So this is my next goal, bring this SaaS that became very powerful to an income stream.
PS: next goal is to give money to @RevenueCat in December, which means cross $2500
Today I did 3 major updates on @mobiqo:
- Replaced the one-time payments with subscriptions as planned
- Switched from a tab system to a left panel system to enhance user experience of project page
- Added @nico_jeannen's Heyo product for customer support
Mobiqo has never been that optimized for mobile app tracking.
And it still comes with a 14-day free trial
New feature on @mobiqo: you can now link marketing campaigns to revenue ๐
If you send a push to your users or create a social post, just log it into Mobiqo.
Mobiqo will fetch all new sessions/revenue generated right after (in a time window you choose) and display it.
Each new marketing action is stored and displays its result.
This way you can easily see what campaign made the most money, and simply replicate it.
Already in production ๐ฅ
Just spent 4 hours scaling @mobiqo cause it was not made to support apps analytics with more than 50k users.
Everything loads faster now, users sync process is optimized, data is cached when needed.
Just have to run a few more tests and I think the tool will be ready for big, big apps
