Reminds me of Ibn Taymiyyah. There’s a story that a couple of his students sat down wanting to discuss his writings but no one had any idea WTH was written.

I always hated being asked “what’s your favorite book” because it’s a pretty stupid question and shows a lack of having read anything at all. But instead of being a snob I’ve resorted to saying “The Road to Mecca.”
Amazing that people still consider the prospect of a deal. It’s interesting (?) to think of a world with an Iranian hegemony, but this isn’t the one. There won’t be any interesting deal. The only sight to see will be an escalation on all fronts—military, political, and religious.
