You know what really pisses me off? As Americans we should be THRILLED we won gold for the first time in 46 years. But all the discourse and drama around them makes it feel very icky. This admin finds a way to ruin literally everything. And I’m pissed.

My two cents on the viral video of the US Team talking to Trump:

Could it have been a joke? Sure.

Did a good chunk of the players laugh when they maybe shouldn’t have? Sure, but we can likely chalk that up to some group think.

Was it “boys being boys/locker room talk? Also sure.

That said, none of that excuses making women the punchline of a joke. Especially women who just achieved the same thing as you and completed that achievement in a far more dominant fashion.

Will any of them address it? Doubtful unless a reporter asks them, which most probably won’t.
