Uncommon advice: If you don't know what to pursue in life right now. Pursue yourself. Pursue becoming the healthiest, happiest, most healed, most present, most confident version of yourself. Then the right path will reveal itself.
Unfortunately, I have to admit that I have not done my best. My current situation is a direct consequence of my incompetence. I suck at doing this life thing.
In your career, you will meet a co-worker who hates you for no reason. It is very important you keep showing up at your best, keep triggering them and their insecurities.
There's nothing louder than the silence between two people who love each other, but ended things because one of them didn't have the capacity to choose the other. So the other had to choose themselves, even though they didn't want to leave.
Adulting advice??? Use your weekend to go out, treat yourself and enjoy being alone. Learn how to make yourself enough for you without needing someone by your side. Make yourself your one and only partner that no matter what will always be there for you.
Btw in your 20’s and 30’s you’ll start rediscovering the niche interests and hobbies you had as a kid. It’s very important you revisit them. Your younger self was actually on to something
Be selfish.
Leave at 5pm on the dot.
Take your PTO.
Ignore work calls outside of work.
Never take work home.
Jump to a better job.
Start the side hustle.
Always look out for yourself FIRST.
