PROTEST AGAINST PAX SILICA PROJECT

Tensions erupted between protesters and police outside the PICC in Pasay City on Wednesday, July 22, as activists staged a rally opposing the visit of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio for the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting and the proposed U.S.-led Pax Silica project.

Rubio later arrived at Malacañang for a meeting with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
