Case Dismissed!
"Thankfully this lawsuit was unsuccessful, like others by PLF and their cohorts, in trying to use Asian Americans as a racial wedge and denying a fair opportunity to all students from communities of color..." – Niyati Shah https://t.co/o8UqPgl7OQ
“Race-neutral admissions policies, like those in Montgomery County, better position public schools provide a robust and diverse experience and to offer an equal opportunity for all students to succeed.” - @MsTurnageYoung

As people who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, AAPI, immigrants, women, and/or LGBTQIA+, we have gone too long without seeing our experiences reflected by the news and media that now constantly surrounds us. The children of this generation and future generations deserve.
Communities of color, especially Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and low-income immigrant workers and business owners, have been especially hard hit by both the economic fallout of this health crisis. We can do better. #MoCoPAAN#UnityMarch2022
A fundamental practice of our democracy is our right to vote, a right for which Black organizers in the civil rights movement fought & died. AAPI & POC too often face great barriers to accessing our democracy. We must ensure that this right is not only defended but strengthened.
