Just want to say shoutout to the 3 Muslims that @InspiringPhilos , Belle, and I debated. Because of them, Muslims are leaving Islam and doubting their faith. This is just after a scroll or two in the comments, by the way. ๐๐๐
@StaddonChris So the midrash is what you consider as an authority?
Then would it be appropriate to bring in hadiths that are not considered as authentic ?
Let's operate on the same standards

Is this part of the demonic influence you lot inherited from Satan hence ALL of you Muslims are easily brainwashed
โผ๏ธWhy do you believe Muhammad is a prophet?โผ๏ธ
His first encounter with an entity that tormented and violently squeezed him until he was in terror, he himself admitted he felt demonically possessed? He became deeply depressed, suffered intense fear and pain, and even contemplated suicide multiple times.
He rushed home to Khadijah in panic and said, "Cover me!" because he feared something evil had happened to him.
Khadijah reassured him by saying, "By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you", then took him to her cousin Waraqa, a Christian who was a scribe of the Bible, told them this was the same angel Jibril who had come to Moses.
Here are my questions-
1. Which "Allah" was Khadijah referring to? At that moment they were still pagan worshippers living among idolaters in Mecca. No revelation had yet been given to Muhammad, so what concept of "Allah" was she invoking?
2. Waraqa was a Christian familiar with the Bible. He appears to have lied and misrepresented the event, because the Bible records no similar encounter where any angel, let alone Gabriel, tortured, squeezed, or tormented a prophet in this terrifying way in the Bible, nor anything like it with Moses. So what entity was this really?
3. We also see in the Hadiths that Muhammad was bewitched by magic, to the point that he imagined he had done things he actually hadnโt. Many of his major revelations also came while he was in Aishaโs bed.
Doesnโt all of this make you seriously question whether Muhammad was truly a prophet?
