Warmest congratulations to President Dr. @MMuizzu on Moody’s sovereign credit rating upgrade to Caa1 with a Stable outlook. 🇲🇻
Inheriting a deeply strained fiscal position and a heavy debt burden, His Excellency’s foresight, patience and tactful leadership have steered the Maldives through major debt obligations and difficult reforms, delivering remarkable progress towards economic stability and renewed international confidence.

Political differences should never become a campaign against investors. For the good of our citizens and the opportunities investment can create, opposition movements should stop targeting those who are willing to invest in the Maldives.
