@grinder_tk@disposableMass @j_hepperly5 @GovTimWalz If you're only definition of "fine" equals "not dead" then I suppose you're right. However, Covid can have some nasty lasting effects: https://t.co/hiRMJOn4cV
No good figures to really measure the prevalence of these cases due to an incompetent coordination by Trump admin.
@schoonerninja @ACorollaries @atowmater @miniondeathcult Two guys walk up behind him, they have all 4 guns before he drops his scone. He's a danger to himself.
@profofacct1@DjCred@EvanMcMullin The trajectory of the economy has been maintained by The Fed and policies put in place long before Trump. Getting it back on track requires we get Covid under control not try to ignore it!
@CAN_USA_James@gartmartin9@EvanMcMullin Correction: that's "anti-abortion" not "pro-life." It's obvious this administration has complete disregard for human life!
@kairyssdal I'm glad you're not observing a TOTAL tech blackout during your vacation. If you had unplugged last Thursday, coming back at the end of this week would be a pretty large shock! 😱😢😰
@Marketplace@kairyssdal@kairyssdal pumpkin is actually a very common food used to help with dogs' digestive issues. Keep the treats, your pup will appreciate it! 😉
With all the talk about expanding the Supreme Court and adding new states, why no discussion of adding a couple hundred seats to the House? We did it nearly every decade for 150 years. It'd also make it less likely that the electoral college picks the popular vote loser
This articulates so much of the conflict I continue to feel about this tumultuous time in our political experiment. I absolutely do NOT believe in abolishing the electoral college, but if our leaders do not make fundamental changes the people will burn our republic to the ground.
Relatedly, @Timodc has a column grappling with the legitimacy problem of a system that allows Republicans to control al levers of government with the support of a minority of voters https://t.co/YBe9QV34Lb
