@lukeregz24 Yes, that is likely. But by then the virus will be under more control, and we will be living with it like the flu. The flu kills up to 20,000 in the uk a year, they just need to get coronavirus deaths down to a tolerable level.

@lukeregz24 It will be like the flu vaccine, they change that every year to deal with what they will expect the 4-7(I think) most dominant strains the following winter.
It will just take a bit of time to get the infection and hospitalisation levels down.
Vaccines can be adapted very easily

@lukeregz24 The flu has thousands of strains, the vaccine just covers the more dominant ones for that year, which is why the flu vaccine only has about 50% effectiveness, but there will still be less dominant strains about that the vaccine won’t cover.
