There's no debate here. Jack Phillips is being bullied by the government for his religious beliefs. Under the Free Exercise Clause, they cannot restrict his faith. “Tolerance is essential in a free society,” and Colorado is not providing that for Mr. Phillips. It's a disgrace.

I agree with my colleagues in Davis v Alaya, but I remain concerned for Hector Ayala. The man had been isolated for majority of his 25 years in custody. His interaction with others remained little to none. Imagine what that could do to a person?? There needs to be reform.

While I believe criminals should be justly punished for their crimes, we have to take a look at the terrible conditions of prisons in America, esp. solitary confinement. There must be an alternative to this inhumane practice for it does nothing but deeply harm the prisoners!

Disappointed in the outcome of Hollingsworth v. Perry. Majority of the court found that the petitioners did not have standing, but I have to disagree. Just because the State refused to defend Proposition 8, doesn't mean the people can't. That's what the initiative system is for!
