It was wonderful being among the people of Surat yesterday. From this vibrant city, we collectively reiterated our commitment to making India strong and self-reliant.
5-7 years back, I used to follow Najam Sethi's show closely to understand what is happening in Pakistan.
Only later I realised he is a puppet of the army.
I have never seen a single North Indian person in my life flaunting his skin color to South Indians. In fact, it is the Tamil cinema industry that has the worst fair-skin obsession and hire non-Tamil actresses who are as whitey as possible.
It now seems West Bengal BJP used the Bangladesh Hindu crisis purely as an election tool.
They rose to power by highlighting attacks on Hindus and cases such as Chinmoy Prabhu & the killings of Dipu Das.
For years, their activists kept asking us for videos, photos & proof to share on social media.
Now? After coming to power in West Bengal, BJP activists have gone completely silent. No messages, no updates, no concern. They used our pain to win elections.
After TCS. After Wipro. Now a Union Bank-linked insurance office in Pune!
A Hindu woman working with Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance, posted at a Union Bank branch in Pune, has accused her senior manager, Mohammad Jafar aka Sadiq Madrasab Sayyed, of mental, verbal and physical harassment to get in bed with him.
In her complaint, the woman told that the accused would tell her:
1. "This is the corporate sector. People here don't bother who is sleeping with whom. Those who have achieved something better in life have slept with their superiors. That's how things go here."
2. "He would tell me that I would get a particular post and that we would go places together. He kept harassing me and would say that if I kept him happy, everything would be better for me. Otherwise, he would remove anyone who displeased him."
3. "He mentally harassed me and also subjected me to physical harassment. He made such obscene remarks and repeatedly said inappropriate things to me."
Also, the accused would frequently engage her in conversations unrelated to work, asking questions about her personal life and issues that had nothing to do with her professional responsibilities.
Pune Police have confirmed that a complaint was received from the woman and that the accused was arrested.
The case comes close on the heels of the TCS Nashik, where multiple women employees alleged sexual exploitation, religious coercion and harassment. One complainant told the SIT that she was allegedly asked to stop visiting temples, stop listening to Bhagwan songs and watch videos of Pakistani cleric Tariq Jamil and preacher Zakir Naik.
Similar allegations are coming up from Pune's Wipro office, sparking outrage after a woman employee accused colleagues of pressuring her to convert to Islam and pursue a relationship with a Muslim co-worker.
TCS. Wipro. Now a Union Bank-linked insurance office.
Different workplaces. Different allegations. Yet a troubling pattern of complaints involving harassment, coercion, abuse of authority and exploitation of women employees continues to emerge from Maharashtra's corporate sector.

Shamika Ravi, a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, is saying:
“Freebies are hopefully increasing productivity.”
No data shared. No study shared. Just being hopeful.
The country is cooked!
@India_Progress MP had two stable parties, third one had limited chance. States like Tamil Nadu and Punjab are in a state of flux. Much higher probability of success.
Every single person of a liberal persuasion has mentioned the Muslim names and ignored the Hindu ones when describing the heroes of the Malviya Nagar fire tragedy and that's why folks detest liberals.
#WATCH | Chandigarh: On Indian Army Pilot proposed to his girlfriend after passing out parade, Lt General (Rtd) KJS Dhillon says, "... After the passing-out parade, a young officer, a helicopter pilot, proposed to his girlfriend or fiancée. The photo went viral with all sorts of reactions coming in. Some called it a breach of discipline, others called it a security issue, while some felt soldiers shouldn’t do such things... But in my view, if we expect a soldier’s patriotism to be so strong that he’s ready to sacrifice his life, then why question his personal love? If he expresses love on social media or otherwise, it doesn’t diminish discipline; it just shows a young spirit... I don't think there's any breach here. It was a heartfelt moment, not worth overreacting. We should accept it gracefully."
After the BBC, Anandabazar Patrika has made a documentary on BJP MLA Kalita Maji, too. Now she has also been sworn in as a minister. How has the transformation from a housemaid to a minister been? Know it all from this video:
