The Administration & Management Module for Officer Trainees (IP&TAFS Batch 2025) commenced today at NCA-F, marking the start of an enriching journey of learning and professional growth, in the august presence of Ms. Vandana Gupta, CGCA, Sh. Sanjiwan Sinha, DG, NCA-F, Sh. Satish Kumar, Jt. CGCA, along with senior officers of the Department of Telecommunications and faculty members of NCA-F.

Addressing the OTs, Ms. Vandana Gupta encouraged them to develop a holistic understanding of government administration, maintain physical fitness, cultivate hobbies, manage time effectively, and achieve a healthy work-life balance. Emphasizing the vision of #MissionKarmayogi, she urged the OTs to embrace continuous learning, acquire new skills and uphold the highest standards of dedication, and accountability. She encouraged them to become compassionate, citizen-centric, and future-ready public servants committed to excellence in service delivery and nation-building.

In his address, Shri Sinha, advised the OTs to identify relevant and emerging topics for in-depth research, enabling them to develop subject-matter expertise and contribute meaningfully to policy formulation and governance. He noted that the 12-week module—covering Service Rules, Financial Management (GFR/DFPR), Public Procurement (GeM), e-Office & Digital Governance, Vigilance, and Disciplinary Proceedings—would equip trainees with well-rounded administrative competence for effective public service delivery.

Dr. Kamal Kapoor DDG, NCA-F urged the OTs to fully utilize the infrastructure and learning ecosystem of the Academy and make the most of the opportunities available to build strong professional foundations.

A training program on Digital Forensics, Cyber Security and Fraud Investigation for 64 Officer Trainees of ICAS, IDAS, IP&TAFS and IRMS(A) undergoing Professional Training Course (PTC) at AJNIFM commenced today at the National Communications Academy–Finance (NCA-F), New Delhi. This is the 4th edition of the week-long program.

Shri Shailesh Bansal, Director, NCA-F, outlined the thematic focus and learning objectives of the program.

Dr. Kamal Kapoor, DDG, delivered a thought-provoking Keynote Address, underscoring the critical importance of Cyber Resilience for Governments in today’s inter-connected world. He exhorted OTs to develop deep understanding of design and implementation of Cyber Security Policies for safeguarding organizational interests.

Sanjay Murthy, along with the members of CAG's senior management interacted with 64 Officer Trainees of the Indian Accounts and Finance Services — ICAS, IDAS, IP&TAFS and IRMS (Accounts) on 19th February 2026 in the Office of CAG of India. Director of Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) Shri Praveen Kumar was also present on the occasion.

The session highlighted how Finance and Accounts Officers play a key role in ensuring government funds are used properly and efficiently, thereby contributing to quality accounts, effective audit and good governance.

Ms. Vandana Gupta, CGCA engaged in an insightful interaction with the Officer Trainees of the 2024 and 2025 batch of IP&TAFS, which provided an opportunity for meaningful exchange, mentoring, and motivation, reinforcing the importance of professional values and public service ethos. She also met 115 AAOs of DoT & DoP undergoing Induction Training at NCA-F.

During her visit, she also inaugurated the newly constructed “Gyan Mandam” at NCA-F, creating dedicated spaces for rest, interaction, and informal engagement for Officer Trainees and staff. The initiative reflects NCA-F’s continued efforts to enhance campus infrastructure and foster a conducive environment that supports well-being, collaboration, and holistic development in public service institutions.

The program opened with an inaugural address by Dr. Kamal Kapoor, Dy. Director General, NCA-F, followed by the course introduction by Shri Shailesh Bansal, Course Director — setting the tone for a transformative learning experience.
