Hey folks! I just published my first major short-story, 'OBSERVER', over on Substack! Please go give it a read and give me all your thoughts!

@SydneyLWatson@justnyxs Sony First Party has a real problem with writing. They desire so much to imitate the Hollywood-filmic world, and yet they lack to capture basic storytelling skills.
@PAHoyeck I haven't read the book, despite largely agreeing with it's premise. However, after you pointed out the book, I went and listened to the author on some interviews and found that he's relying on such a large Christian foundation that I found his arguments kind of nil.
@ScottMcCreaWest I thought the prose was utterly dull and ugly. The characters are interesting, but the themes laid out had been so overly done, that it was very easy to see where it was going and what its pitfalls were. Also unfortunate it cant stand on its own.
@djodjeee_ Story is pretty good. Gameplay can be extremely tedious: Rockstar AA style. Opening segment is crazy long in the tooth, hour+ before you can even save. Epilogue is overwrought and unnecessary - only serves as a link to RDR1.
@Zouichi I'm glad someone else agrees. I was excited for GOW 2018 because of nostalgia and I was very intrigued by where the story was going. Then Ragnarok had the same shit combat and the story was a huge letdown. Laufey will be 10x worse.
