Good to read @edwinheathcote’s article on the powerlessness of design, reminiscent of Valicenti’s ‘Cranky’ in Emigre (2003). Little has changed, although if at that time the interest in design criticism faded, now it’s cherished as soothing melancholy.

'Design Capital 1 – The Circuit' was discussed yesterday at MAAT in a lively conversation between its author @hnnhlls & @silvio_lorusso, during an event co-hosted by @ctrotherworlds. Discussions about biennials & festivals unfolded not only during, but also before and after. 🧵

Next Monday, 6 June 2022 at 6pm, we will host a conversation between @hnnhlls and @silvio_lorusso at MAAT in Lisbon. Join us to discuss Design Capital 1 – The Circuit, published by @onomatopeenet: https://t.co/kIaQLDC9wY
