last night my favorite person, with the help of our best friends, asked me to marry him at my favorite place in the world during our favorite artist and the song we planned to dance to at our wedding
A patient told me he was using the medications as directed, but later told my attending he wasn’t using it because he couldn’t afford it.With tears in his eyes,he said to me:“I’m sorry I lied to you.”🥹Standard of care is irrelevant if the patient has no access to it.End of story.
When you borrow a tampon from a girl and she gives you a light one.. it’s like wow ok sorry didn’t know I was in the presence of the most dainty and delicate pussy in the world
Unhoused people are allowed to have preferences. They're allowed to not like the stuff you offer them. They know what they can/can't carry with them. They're allowed to tell you they don't need food, but need cash.
If you're earnestly giving to help them, listen to them.
If you want to stay a healthy weight in the US, you have to live in the gym or/and follow some radical exclusionary diet, to the extent that it becomes part of your personality.
Europeans eat carbs, bread and sugars, Nutella breakfast, seed oils, etc. and don’t get fat.
Most Europeans also lead a sedentary lifestyle, practice even less sports than Americans, and aren’t particularly fit either, but most aren’t even fat, much less obese.
You can’t possibly justify that morbid obesity as early as in teenagers is due to “lifestyle choices”.
I am very hesitant to assign obesity in the US to lifestyle.
Something is DEEPLY wrong with their food quality.
You know this because Europeans immediately gain weight in the US without changing their eating habits and lose the weight just as easily when back in Europe.
