Working with global organizations to integrate data sets and visualize physical assets, operations & processes with immersive XR training & digital twins
🌊Imagine this🌊You’re on board a vessel, working on a critical system under pressure. You have the documentation and diagrams. But none of it reflects what you’re actually looking at in front of you. So you flip between manuals. You interpret. You piece it together.
This is still how many teams operate today. It’s time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to rely on.
Modern naval platforms are more advanced than ever. But the way we train, maintain, and operate them hasn’t kept pace.
The challenge isn’t access to engineering data. It’s turning that data into something usable in the moment it matters. And as systems become more complex, that gap only grows.
From the Harry DeWolf-class to Victoria-class submarine sustainment and Canada’s future River-class destroyers, Modest Tree supports the evolving training and operational readiness needs of Canada’s naval programs.

🚢 MAJOR MILESTONE 🚢
Proud to announce that Modest Tree has been awarded a $32M contract by Fleetway Inc. to deliver immersive, design-derived training systems for the Royal Canadian Navy's River-class Destroyers.
Sailors will train on ship systems well before commissioning, accelerating readiness, reducing introduction-to-service risk, and strengthening Canada’s sovereign naval capability.
This work strengthens Canada's defence industrial base while creating high-value tech jobs right here in Nova Scotia.
“As Canada builds its future fleet, we are building the training advantage alongside it,” said Emily Smits CPA,CMA, PMP, CEO of Modest Tree. “We are transforming engineering design into operational readiness while creating high-value technology jobs here in Nova Scotia.”

A big thank-you to CNMT for trusting us to support such a meaningful evening.
A special moment for us at Modest Tree this week.
We were invited by our friends at the Canadian Naval Memorial Trust (CNMT) to support their presentation at Evenings at Government House.
Hosted by His Honour The Honourable Mike Savage, ONS, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, and Her Honour Ms. Darlene (Killen) Savage.
