@bekhayalime Chand Burke primarily work at the Punjabi from industry that two pre-partition people have forgotten about. She is only remembered now as Ranveer’s grandmother. And Sonam’s mother and Ranveer’s mother are cousins.

@ffspari @Yours_TAngel at least once & the guilt of not being able to protect the women of their families. His wife’s death , followed by his daughter’s, and daughter-in-law’s death hardened him further. And pre-partition is the only time he was actually happy so he just reminiscing that.

@ffspari @Yours_TAngel He wasn’t dreaming about her when he found out that she got married and decided too move on as well. It’s only towards the end of his life when he has dementia and he only remembers his past life in Sargodha. Also, it’s not just Jiya but more like guilt that he couldn’t meet her-
