Kejriwal is worried about the use of E20 petrol in E10 vehicles. The irony is that the same Kejriwal wrote a letter to the PM in 2021 asking to allow the Pfizer vaccine in India without trials and with an indemnity clause, which meant that if any person even died from the Pfizer vaccine, they could not sue the company in court, this was Kejriwal.

As far as the effect of E20 on pre-2023 vehicles is concerned, it's clear that it doesn't affect the engine or injectors. Automobile companies have also confirmed this, and the government has also said so in Parliament.

Only rubber parts of the fuel system, like rubber seals, fuel hoses, and O-rings, need to be changed during regular servicing and that too only in pre-2016 vehicles.

🚨BIG MOVE BY MODI GOVT.: 100 Critical Products Worth of ₹5 Lakh Crore Identified to Cut Foreign Dependence and Strengthen National Security

India is preparing one of its most ambitious industrial policy initiatives in recent years by identifying 100 critical imported products worth nearly $51 billion (around ₹5 lakh crore) for domestic manufacturing. The move marks a strategic shift from prioritizing low-cost imports to building long-term industrial resilience and reducing dependence on overseas suppliers for products vital to the country's economy and national security.

The initiative goes beyond the existing Make in India and Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes.

The disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, tensions in the Red Sea, growing US-China strategic rivalry, and instability in West Asia have exposed the vulnerabilities of relying heavily on imports for essential industrial and strategic products. These events have reinforced the need for India to develop domestic manufacturing capabilities in sectors where import dependence poses economic and security risks.

While certain imports, such as crude oil, remain unavoidable due to resource limitations, many high-value industrial products can be manufactured domestically. It is these products that the government now aims to localize.

Among the sectors expected to receive priority are electronics, electric vehicle components, solar equipment, pharmaceuticals, industrial machinery, textile manufacturing equipment, and footwear manufacturing components.
