@allenholub I would argue that any hardware analogy somehow falls short for software… it is just way easier to change stuff, even foundations in software. You don’t do that with a house/car/boat. Why not just use software examples? People know software in 2022, no need for analogies anymore

Wenn du an Technik einfach alles reinhaust und dann Softwaretechnisch an/abschaltest ist es vielleicht sogar günstiger. Assozial natürlich trotzdem.

@yanivnathan @EmmaBostian I would say it can not mimic that relationship at all. Just imagine that you have the chance of getting fired if you ask/say the wrong thing at any minute. Or that your manager is being switched out after one or two hours…

@CFDevelop Mostly end to end integration tests, if you have multiple services. If this test layer is more of a smoke test and stays slim, it is okish. The dev experience with postman isnhorrible. If you have one service it is definitely not worth the hustle.
