For the first time in 24 years the Mo Corrections Officers Assn. has endorsed a Democrat for governor, Crystal Quade. Mo employees cannot afford Kehoe and his "right to work" agenda. This should tell you everything you need to know about whats really going on in jefferson city
We're saddened to learn of the passing of George Lombardi, Missouri Department of Corrections director from 2009 to 2017. Lombardi joined @MoCorrections in 1974 & served as psychologist, superintendent & division director. Our hearts go out to his family, friends & colleagues.
HP: Ep. 133: #Missouri Corrections Officers Association, Director Tim Cutt - a chat with @RaitchetP about

@MoCorrections@TheHeartlandPOD @RaitchetP Violent offender intakes may have fallen over the last 5 years, but violent attacks on staff as well as other offenders have continued to rise year over year.
@MoCorrections@TheHeartlandPOD @RaitchetP I'm sure the 5.5% COLA raise will help, however currently the average frontline cook makes around 14.30/hr. Just because that position is budgeted for 32k/year doesn't mean they are actually receiving it.
@MissouriPrison Jccc was never on lockdown. There was an offender that was being transported to the hospital in full restraints for some tests and jumped off the gurney. The situation was quickly resolved by staff on hand.
The Missouri Supreme Court has not issued a decision yet in the corrections officer overtime case. That involves the Cole County Circuit Court's 2018 decision to award more than $113 million in overtime pay for Missouri corrections officers. That case was heard in April. #MoSCt
At least 9 injured tonight at #SECC on the way to the hospital. 3 CERT teams called in. Facility whs not placed on lockdown @MissouriPrison @DocPast@Brianontheair@RyanWKrull
@MoCorrections Transfering over 3000 offenders this week alone and you honestly expect to keep COVID under control? Let's all give a round of applause to the captain of the titanic. Lets watch the numbers spike in a week or so
If this is in anyway accurate then we have a definite problem with containing this virus. If @MoCorrections is planning this mass transfer of offenders then what's their excuse for no visits. And BTW where are these air purifiers you promise last month? @DocPast @GovParsonMO
SERIOUS INCIDENT #ERDCC tonight. When is @MoCorrections going to fix these issues. Apparently this offender is teaching others how break out of their cells and assualt our staff. Officer has multiple stitches and staples as a result. @MissouriPrison @DocPast @GovParsonMO
Happening now.
Tim Cutt, MO Corrections Officer Association, saying that masks are not mandated in MO prisons and testing is not occurring.
"Mr. Parson has not done anything to stop the spread of COVID in the Department of Corrections. That's very concerning for my staff."
So it now appears that @MoCorrections blocking the general public from the COVID updates on their website. Can you say "cover up"? @MissouriPrison @DocPast @GovParsonMO
